I am part of the PADS executive advisory group on lived and living experience as a result of my knowledge and experience of drug use in Scotland.

Scottish Governments Participation Framework Steering Group

I am helping to develop the Scottish Government’s participation framework for engagement with stakeholders.

Crew 2000

Crew is a charity that provides services focused on psycho-stimulant drug use and sexual health. As a volunteer worked in the drop-in shop, provided sexual health and drug awareness training to volunteers and outside members, crisis intervention and involvement with policy production. As a member of the Board of Directors in various capacities over the years (Vice Chair, Company Secretary and a member of the Human Resources Committee). Key roles have included policy updating, supervising contractual obligations, negotiating new contracts, staff grievances, funding applications and monitoring the balance between service provision and financial capability.

Stenton Parents Council

I am a member of the parents council for Stenton Primary, where my two young children attend.
